VOLUNTEERS MAKE THIS PLACE RUN!

Hope Is Where the Heart Is

Volunteering for Esperanza's looks different to everyone. We have our farm volunteers who help with the husbandry and training of our farm sanctuary residents, our foster homes for our shelter to service dog placements, foster homes for our puppy partner program, foster homes for readily adoptable livestock, our community outreach events, and more.
This is the landing page for all of those things.

FOSTER

From dogs to goats to pigs oh my!

We need foster homes. Sometimes its for a tortoise, other times for a goat. We only let you accept what you are prepared for. The first step to fostering any animal for us is to complete our Foster Foundations Course. Make sure you type in Code: ESPIE to enroll in this online course for free.

HELP ON THE FARM

Enrichment, cleaning, and feeding

are just a starting point for the things we do here. As we grow and evolve there will be projects, assistance with vet visits, piggy spa days, and more. We want our volunteers to be active with the animals in a safe and sane way and learn to interact and train them using humane evidence-based methods as well.
